Release Overview

Q4S20.22 provides enhancements/updates to the following areas:

  1. Automated Daily Backup Tool – Added FTP Backup Option
  2. “Ship to Mailing Address Only” Checkbox added to Customer Master
  3. 4473 – Dropdown Updates
  4. User Tracking on Customer, Vendor and Part Master
  5. 4473 PDF Update – Question 5

Automated Daily Backup Tool – Added FTP Backup Option


Users now have the option to utilize the automated daily backup tool via FTP or Dropbox. Please reach out to Orchid to either get started with the backup tool, or if you would like to switch from Dropbox to FTP.

 

“Ship to Mailing Address Only” Checkbox added to Customer Master

We have added a “Ship to Mailing Address only” checkbox to the Customer Master. This field has also been added to the eFFL API.


 

4473 – Dropdown Updates

We have updated Question 11 – Country of Birth with the latest list of Countries from NICS. The Question 12 dropdown for Inches has been updated to reflect whole numbers only. 


User Tracking on Customer, Vendor and Part Master

Users now have visibility as to who added or edited a record in the Customer, Vendor and Part Master. Each record will now be tagged with the last user that either added or updated the record and the update date. Please note that this feature is only on a go-forward basis.


4473 PDF Update – Question 5

We have reduced the font size on Question 5 – Caliber/Gauge to accommodate additional characters.



Daily Backup Tool

During our last release an update was made to the newly released automated backup tool. That release altered the file extension from .csv to .zip requiring users to change the extension prior to opening the file. This has been corrected.
