Orchid eBound

FFL Mode Status Indicator
A new status indicator has been added for production and demo bound books. Users will now see an FFL Mode option on the Create / Modify FFL and Bound Book setup screen, allowing each bound book to be assigned as either Demo or Live. This status will help clearly identify which environment users are actively working in and will display to the left of the FFL number within the bound book dropdown menu.

Single Item Detail Note History
The Single Item Detail screen has been enhanced to display serial number notes directly within Item History. When a note is added, the system will log the employee’s name, date added, and the action type as Note for improved audit visibility.

 

Orchid eCommerce

GunBroker Enhancements (BETA)

New updates designed to improve visibility and marketplace management include:

  • Defined invoice types for easier order recognition 
  • Notifications for incoming orders 
  • New reporting options, including: 
    • Active & Sold Listings 
    • Listings vs POS 

Additional reporting for all marketplace integrations is currently in development.

 

GunBroker – Coming Soon

  • Notifications for invalid webhook credentials 
  • A required acknowledgment for all GunBroker users 

Important Reminder:
All GunBroker listings must be created directly within the POS. Listings created outside of the POS may result in inaccurate inventory and listing synchronization.

 

Live Vendor Feed Visibility Control (BETA)

A new enhancement allows dealers to hide live vendor feed inventory from their website while keeping vendor feeds active within the POS for ordering and price checks.

 

eCommerce Enhancements (Extended BETA)

The current eCommerce enhancement cycle will remain in BETA as development continues to focus on product discovery, pricing transparency, and storefront performance.

Highlights include:

  • Clearer Pricing Display
    Improved MSRP, online, and sale price visibility with strike-through pricing where applicable 
  • Expanded New Arrivals Controls
    More flexibility for product grouping, row display, and layout customization 
  • Product Page Improvements
    Cleaner organization of product details, specifications, and attributes 
  • Brand Filtering & Navigation
    Improved browsing and filtering by brand 
  • Additional Refinements
    Product title formatting improvements, customizable inquiry messaging/email routing, and continued UI/performance enhancements 

These features remain available to BETA users as we continue refining the experience based on customer feedback.

 

GunMade Integration (Now Accepting BETA Users)

We are currently onboarding additional BETA users for our newest marketplace integration with GunMade.

GunMade helps retailers expand online visibility by listing inventory to a broader firearms marketplace audience, increasing exposure and driving sales opportunities.

Select Parts to Order Enhancements

Updates to improve search and ordering workflows include:

  • Exported search results now reflect the same columns used in the original search and filters 
  • New column for multi-store users showing available quantity across other locations 
  • New quantity sold/purchased filters for searching activity within the last: 
    • Day 
    • Week
    • Month
    • Year

 

Inventory Adjustment Held Quantity Visibility

The Inventory Adjustment tab now includes a Held For section displaying all quantities currently allocated to transactions such as:

  • Layaways
  • Pending firearm sales 
  • Transfers

Each held quantity includes a direct link to its source transaction, making it easier to identify reserved inventory and quickly navigate for review.

 

Coming Soon

Transfer Firearm Exemptions in POS
Support for exempting transfer firearms directly within the POS is currently in development.
