How to Set Up Zapier Integration
Connect your Point of Sale (POS) system with Zapier to sync contact data through the Orchid Contact Sync private app. You will need access to the POS Integrations page and an active Zapier account with an accepted admin invitation.
Steps
- Enable Zapier Integration. In the Point of Sale (POS) system, navigate to the Integrations page and select the CRM tab. Enable the Zapier integration toggle.
- Connect POS with Zapier. Log in to your Zapier account. Create a new Zap by selecting one of the highlighted options on the Zapier interface.
- Set Up a Trigger. Select Trigger in the Zap setup process and choose the private Zapier app, Orchid Contact Sync. Note: The app will only appear after accepting the invitation sent by the admin.
- Configure the Trigger Event. Select Contact Update as the trigger event. Choose your account in the next step. A popup window will appear for authentication.
- Authenticate the POS. Copy the Store Unique Identifier and Unique API Key from the POS Integrations page. Paste these values into the respective fields in the Zapier popup window. After successful authentication, the Continue button will be enabled.
- Test the Trigger. Click the Continue button to proceed to the Test Trigger step. Test the connection, during which two sample data entries will be displayed.
- Select Sample Data. Choose one sample data entry to proceed with configuring subsequent steps as required.
- Set Up Actions. After completing the trigger setup, configure the desired actions for the Zap according to your preferences.
Expected Result
- The POS is successfully authenticated with Zapier via the Orchid Contact Sync app.
- The Contact Update trigger is configured and tested with sample data.
- Actions are set up for the Zap according to your preferences.
