Barcoding serialized inventory allows for quick and easy review of firearm information via scanning.

 

The Barcode Generator is a tool used to create scalable barcodes to track your on-hand inventory. It permits you to enter a serial number or Handling Unit Name and print a barcode label and apply it to an inventory tag or box. The tool requires that you own a barcode label printer (for small labels) or use printable labels on a larger printer.

Instructions for How to Create a Barcode

1.        From the software portal main menu, click Barcode Generator.




     2.       The Barcode Generator screen will now display. To generate a barcode, enter the serial number or Handling Unit Name in the Enter Serial Number or ID field.




      3.       The information as entered will create a barcode for display. To print, select the Print button.
