4473 – Delete Attachments

Users can now delete attachments from the In-process and Complete page.

 

4473 – Ability to Make Digital Corrections at Any Time 

Users can now make digital corrections at any time, even before the form is completed. (This feature requires Orchid eStorage)

 

4473 – Corrections Now Update In-Process & Complete

Previously, corrections to selected data such as firearm model or manufacturer only updated the 4473 and the Bound Book. The corrections now display in the In-Process and Complete page as well. (This feature requires Orchid eStorage)

 

4473 – FFL Signatures Beyond Transfer Date

Previously, eBound required users to complete a recertification when trying to add a missing signature after the transfer date. Now, FFLs can open their form and add the appropriate signature without the requirement to recertify.

 

Orchid eCommerce

Unified Global Search
We’ve streamlined the experience by removing the direct search bar that appeared in the upper right-hand corner of the product shopping pages. This older form of search only ‘searched’ the products on that page (i.e., a subset of the site), which led to shopper confusion. A single global search bar now powers all searches for a more optimized and consistent workflow.

 

Significantly Improved Shopping Filters (Beta)

For some time, users have asked for enhanced filters for the shopping pages. Just released to Beta, are completely rebuilt filters that:

·      Only include categories, manufacturers, etc., relevant to the page being filtered.

·      Eliminate the confusing hourglass search button.

·      Links product categories and subcategories together, and more.

We expect this feature to be in full production inside of two weeks.

 

Captcha Update
Captcha verification has been disabled across both PC and mobile environments, simplifying the login and ordering process.

 

ShipStation Enhancements

You can now enable the Adult Signature Required option within integration settings. This feature is available for both eCommerce and POS.

 

Home Page and Navigation Enhancements

·      Users can now add up to ten (10) sections on their home page

·      The structured pages shown in the navigation menu option drop down, now includes Gallery, Staff, Blog and a new Brands pager.

 

Bug Fixes

·      In-Store Pickup Checkout Issue Resolved - We addressed an issue where customers selecting In-Store Pickup were unable to proceed to payment and instead received a prompt to select a shipping option. This error has been resolved, and checkout now works as expected.

·      Product Visibility Issues – A recent enhancement to our caching server caused various product visibility issues. This has now been fixed, eliminating such issues as:  Archived Items Showing on Website, Products Showing with Visibility Disabled, and Sale Prices on Featured Products

·      Misalignment of Checkout Totals – One customer reported that their custom website presented misaligned totals on the checkout. This has been resolved.

Enhancements to the Live Vendor Feed Experience

• Clearer Order & PO Wording
  Updated terminology throughout the order and purchase order (PO) process to make the workflow easier to follow
• Dynamic Pricing Options
  Within product availability and visibility settings, you can now choose how vendor-held inventory is prioritized when customers place orders. Options are as shown below. Please note that Camfour will be added in the coming two weeks.
• Ordering by highest margin
• Ordering by vendor sequence

 

Dynamic pricing automatically adjusts based on vendor cost × your markup. We strongly recommend reviewing your global price levels to ensure accuracy.

 

• Streamlined Automated PO Generation
  When dynamic pricing is used, the system not only reflects the specific item cost but also automatically generates a PO to the appropriate vendor—saving you time and reducing manual order management.
• Improved Drop Ship Handling
  If a vendor is out of stock, the system now moves the quantity to Special Order and notifies the store owner, ensuring visibility on customer-placed drop ship orders.
• Refined Order Status Updates
  Order status messaging has been updated for POs placed with vendors for improved clarity.

These enhancements span from the integration page through PO creation, making vendor feed management smoother and more efficient.

RSR Integration

RSR has released a new API integration for their live vendor feeds. Our development team is currently testing this, and it remains on track for release in the next update. Once available, you will need to contact RSR directly to obtain your API credentials.

Reminder: RSR has updated their authentication requirements, and all passwords must be reset.

 

Camfour Integration
Camfour is now live with real-time price and quantity checks available directly in the Select Parts to Orderscreen. Dynamic pricing and auto-fulfillment features are scheduled for release in the upcoming sprint.

 

Guns.com Integration

The Orchid / Guns.com integration has been formally released from Beta and is available to all users.

 

Inbound Transfers

Customer address is no longer required for inbound transfers. However, address fields remain mandatory when acquiring the firearm.

 

Update to the Inventory Activity Report

Instead of listing each individual sale separately, the report will now display the total sales for each part number on a single line,

• PO Preview Screen – Fixed an issue where products added to the cart were not appearing in the PO preview.
• Inventory Asset Loading – Optimized queries to significantly reduce load times when viewing inventory assets for previous dates.
